General Proprieties
The austenitic stainless steel 926 (UNS N08926) was developed on basis of 904L steel. However, the molybdenum content at 926 steel was raised to 6.5%. The 926 steel has excellent general corrosion resistance and improved resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion. The resistance to stress corrosion cracking is also increased. It is often referred as super austenitic stainless steel. The 926 steel is available at CHUN & VOLLERIN in the following formats: Bars, Plates.
