General Proprieties
CuNi 70/30 (UNS C71500) is a high‑performance copper–nickel alloy known for its excellent corrosion resistance, particularly in seawater and saline environments, combined with a balanced level of mechanical strength and ductility.
The addition of iron and manganese enhances structural stability and in‑service performance, even under demanding operating conditions, ensuring long‑term reliability.
Thanks to its physical and thermal properties, CuNi 70/30 is widely used in heat exchangers, condensers, marine piping, offshore installations, and industrial applications where durability, safety, and low maintenance are essential. This alloy is also commonly referred to as cupronickel 70/30 (CuNi 70/30).
CuNi 70/30 is available from CHUN & VOLLERIN in the following product forms: Sheets, Pipes
