General Proprieties
F51 (UNS S31803) steel is a duplex stainless steel that offers a high resistance to general , pitting, stress and crevice corrosion, as well as a high mechanical strength and good weldability. As a result, this is a highly suitable material for applications dealing with environments containing chlorides and and hydrogen sulphide. The F51 steel good mechanical and corrosion resistance properties make it useful for parts subject to stress corrosive attack: valve parts, pumps, centrifugal machines. The F51 steel is available at CHUN & VOLLERIN in the following formats: Bars, Plates, Stripes.
