Despite the low nickel content, the 253 MA steel (UNS S30815) alloy offers an excellent combination of resistance to sliding, oxidation, sulphation and erosion / abrasion at extreme temperatures. This makes it cheaper than most heat resistant alloys. The 253 MA steel is available at CHUN & VOLLERIN in the following formats: Bars, Plates, Stripes.
